Acne – Pimple Scar Treatment
Acnes can disappear over the time with treatment, but acne scars, puffed-hollow areas and spots remain unfortunately. There are different varieties of acne scars; ice-pick, boxcar, rolling, hypertrophic-keloid, and their treatment may vary.
There are different methods for acne scars. Peeling, fillers and some laser types are used more commonly. It is not always possible to completely recover the acne scars. Some laser treatments may provide mild to moderate improvement.
Exoderm + Dermabrasion Combined Treatment
One of the most effective solutions for acne scars is “DERMOABRASION”. This procedure is certainly very effective in acne scars when performed with high-quality ends and preferably with DIAMOND PEN. We can consider dermabrasion as an eraser made with special ends. In this way, the skin surface is mechanically smoothened, and scars are visibly removed. Sometimes it may be better to repeat this process a few months later to get the most appropriate result.
In many acne scars, Exoderm method can be combined with dermabrasion to achieve a high success rate. This combined treatment is non-surgical procedure which lasts about 30 minutes. However, it is a medical procedure that requires special training and performed by a specialist.
No pain occurs when exoderm-dermabrasion treatment is performed under sedation analgesia. Small areas can even be treated only with local anaesthesia.
When the crusting on the face is removed after 7-10 days, the new face skin will appear much smoother, free of stains and pits.
It would be appropriate to spare 7-10 days for face recovery after exoderm-dermabrasion treatment, then patient can return to normal life by hiding the redness-pinkness scars with concealer creams. The duration of redness-pinkness may be several weeks to several months or longer depending on the skin type and depth of the procedure. Patients should be protected against the sun during this period.

Many effective methods are used to make the face younger. The new aesthetic surgery methods are used for stretching the forehead and temples, lifting the sagged eyebrows, removing excess skin and bags of the eyelids, making the cheeks look tighter and fuller, removing the lines on the edges of lips, changing the prominence of jaw and cheekbones and recovering the sagged jowl. Some of the above-mentioned procedures can also be performed with outpatient sedation + local anaesthesia.
If the right choice is made, the effectiveness of the method is also increased, one method can be combined with the other.
Face Lifting Surgery
In all face lifting operations, it is possible to perform facial lifting surgery under the subcutaneous or SMAS tissue with incisions that start in front of the ear on both side and turning back of the ear. There are also more practical face lifting operations (e.g. MACS Lift) in the short S-shape (just in front of the ear).
After face lifting surgery, one-night hospital stay may be required, and drains are removed after 3-4 days. It is possible to take a shower in 1 week. Recovery period usually lasts for 2 weeks. Scars in anterior of the ear are concealed with hair and make-up in the first week but they become indistinct over the time.
Mid Facelift
Midface area can be lifted with hanging method (Serdey hang or other hanging methods). Scars are invisible since small incisions are made from temporal area and hidden parts. The procedure is generally performed under sedation + local anaesthesia, and it can also be performed under general anaesthesia if required.
The recovery period is averagely 5-7 days, but it can take 1-1,5 years to achieve the result.
Exoderm Lift
What is Exoderm Lift?
With this interesting but effective method of providing non-surgical face lifting in eight days, the upper layer of the skin completely dissolves, new and fresh skin is formed underneath, and the skin is stretched with the accumulation of collagen and elastin fibres.
This method was developed in the 1980s and has shown many improvements to this day. Over the years, it was applied more than 7000 patients and almost excellent results are achieved with the experience and maximum medical safety.
“Exoderm Lift” method depending on the application of liquid phenol and phenol crystals was introduced alternatively to laser. The fact that results obtained from the laser differs significantly from the laser has made the usage area of this method broader.

Revision of Fat Injection
Although an average of 15-20% of the injected fat is permanent, this ratio may vary. If desired, the results can be further improved by repeated fat injection.
During the fat injection, generally a little bit more fat is taken and stored under cool conditions. In this way, it will be possible to apply stored fat injection for once or twice in the following months.
