Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation (breast augmentation, breast aesthetics) surgery can be defined as placing prosthesis at the back of the breast in order to enlarge the breasts that have been already small or to make the breasts fuller and lifted after they shrunk following a birth. It may also be in the form of breast lifting.

Silicon is one of the least reactive chemicals in the body. Most of the prostheses used for breast augmentation are in the form of a silicone sheath, in which there is gel silicone or saline. Silicon breast (prosthesis breast) is applied in this way.

Silicone breast prostheses have been applied to millions of women all over the world for many years, because it has not been proved that these prostheses are harmful to human health. Cohesive gel prostheses produced in recent years are already quite safe.

Moreover, there is no other effective method that provides aesthetic breast enhancement. In other words, injections, medications etc. are not effective and are often harmful. Breast surgery (breast augmentation, breast lifting,) surgeries are performed without leaving any scar on the breasts.

The shape and size of the silicone are chosen by the doctor according to the person's wishes and body size. It is most often placed from axilla, nipple or under breast, and the surgical scar is concealed, and it gradually decreases over time. Prosthesis placement is completed in 1-1.5 hours.

In breast augmentation procedure with silicon, the most appropriate placement way is selected by considering future-planned delivery and breastfeeding, and thus the possible postpartum milking function will not be affected and there will be no change in the sense of nipple.

Silicone prostheses may only collapse in the event of an injury or there is no burst. In this case, the only symptom is the reduction in the breast size, it does not give harm to the person. In such a case, it is sufficient to consult a doctor and replace the prosthesis within a day or two.
