Abdominoplasty
In the abdominal region, there might only excess fat, only excess skin or both. In addition, the muscles forming the anterior abdominal wall may also have looseness and even herniation, and there may be stretch marks in the abdominal skin. These deformities give an unpleasant appearance to the body.
Abdominoplasty surgery allows the removal of the excess skin and fat mass in the abdomen, so that the stretch marks in the lower quadrant of the abdomen will be discarded and the remaining stretch marks become more indistinct (since the skin is tightened)
The muscles forming the abdominal wall are also tightened. When this procedure is combined with liposuction to be made on the waist area, a significant slimming is achieved in the waist area.
Abdominoplasty operation is performed from the lowest part of abdomen, so that tightening line is concealed under the clothes. Mostly, the waist hole is reshaped again in an aesthetically appealing way.
This operation lasts 2.5-3 hours on average. For the first 10 days in this period, you must walk cautiously and forwardly.
Some simple stitches do not affect the person's daily life for 10-14 days, and since this period, the person can gradually return to normal daily life, but it is necessary not to do exercises and to be cautious in the first month.
Over the following months, the oedema will gradually decrease and the person will feel more comfortable. This may take around 6 months, but periodic doctor checks can help to overcome this period comfortably.
As a result of the tests to be requested before the operation, the doctor acquires information about the general health status and ensures that the operation is performed with a minimum risk.
The most important feature of abdominoplasty surgery is the sudden correction of the sagging in the abdominal area. This dramatic recovery will immediately manifest itself and the removed skin and the fat mass will no longer come back. Thus, the body size will permanently be reduced.
